Lee J. Kelly

Lee J. Kelly, age 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at his home in St. Helen. He was born on January 11, 1934 in Hemans, MI to Floyd and Edna (Bunnert) Kelly. Lee lived in St. Helen since 1990, formerly of Lapeer. On October 10, 1990, he married Patricia Pethers in Grayling. Lee graduated from North Branch High School and worked on the family farm before going to work for General Motors. He enjoyed snowmobiling and was a member of the St. Helen Snow Packers, where he was the longest member.

Lee is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Patricia Kelly of St. Helen; son, Christopher Kelly of North Branch; daughter, Patricia (Jim) DiGenova of Houghton Lake; step son, Michael (Tammy) Wade of IN; step daughter, Kathleen (Jeff) Green of Lapeer; grandchildren, Darby (Julie), Dustin (Nikole), Courtney (Derek), Cody, Gabby, Maddy, Justin and Kristyn (Devin); many great grandchildren, sister, Eileen Kelly and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary Lou and son, Mark.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Stiles Cemetery in Lapeer, MI.
