Lawrence Louis Kacel

Lawrence Louis Kacel, age 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 28, 2023, in Rose City, MI. He was born on May 8, 1947, in Detroit, MI, to Lawrence and Emma (Pohnl) Kacel. He lived in Lupton since 2000 formerly of Clinton Twp., MI.

Lawrence had an outgoing nature and gift for storytelling which made him a joy to be around. He was a talker, always ready with a story to share. He had a passion for stopping at garage sales and thrift stores. Lawrence also loved taking rides through the park.

Lawrence is survived by his three daughters, Dawn Kacel of New Baltimore, MI, Melissa (Eric) Snyder of Harrison Twp., MI, and Lorie Kacel of Lupton; grandchildren Brittney Kacel and Katie Snyder; and sister Carol (Gary) Baarck of Mt. Clemens, MI.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Cathleen, in 2018.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
