Laurence W. Romatz

Mr. Romatz passed away at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He had been a resident of West Branch since 1980, formerly of Inkster. He was a member and church extension representative for St. John Lutheran Church in West Branch, a member of the Optimist Club of West Branch, a member and present commander of the American Legion Post 103 of West Branch. Larry is survived by his wife Beverly Romatz of West Branch, children--Mark Romatz of Montreal Canada, Lynne (Robert) Hendzell of Plymouth, Wendy (Andy) Moore of Canton, Laurie (Jim) Wangler of West Branch, grandchildren--Curtis, Nicholas and Dennis Hendzell and Dominique and Khadejah Moore. Also surviving are his sisters, Kaye Barto of Warren, Elizabeth Lamb of Eastpointe and Dorothy Meek of St.Clair Shores. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Saturday January 31, 2004 from 7-9 P.M. and Sunday from 12-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday February 2, 2004 at St. John Lutheran Church in West Branch. Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. John Lutheran Church fund.
