Laura Maybell Wright

Laura Maybell Wright, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2016 at The Villa at West Branch. She was born to Oscar and Bessie (Wiltse) Gerard in Saginaw, MI on April 15, 1923. Laura was a member of Faith Alive Church. She enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening and hunting.

Laura is survived by her sister, Elva Boese of Saginaw, MI; grandson, Lance Wright, brothers in law, Gerald Johnson and Hugh Smith; sister in law, Huldah Gerard; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Bessie, husband, Raymond, son, Stephen, daughter, Judy, brothers, Kenneth, Floyd, and Daniel, and sisters, Emma, Phyllis, and Maryln.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at The Villa at West Branch for caring for Laura.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw, MI. Pastor Tim LaVere will officiate.
