Larry Wade Gray

Larry Wade Gray, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in St. Helen, MI. He had been a resident of St. Helen since 1998, formerly of Clio, MI. Larry was born to Nolen and Amy (Harsch) Gray in Red Bay, AL on July 26, 1948. On December 27, 1997, he married Elizabeth Scalf in Fenton, MI. He was retired from General Motors after 30 years at Buick City in Flint, MI. Larry was an outdoorsman and a handyman. He loved camping, hunting, and building. His grandchildren were his life!

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Gray of St. Helen, MI; mother: Amy Gray of St. Helen, MI; sons: Ron (Cheryl) Gray of Florida, Scott (Debbie) Gray of Montrose, MI, and Mark Gray of Flint, MI; step son: Brian (Katie) Olewin of Fenton, MI; grandchildren: Kodey (Angela), Nicholas, Karley, Emma, Mitchel, Hannah, Wade, and Hailey; great grandchild: Chloe; and brothers: Dan (Elba) Gray and family of FL, and James (Karen) Gray and family. He is preceded in death by his father, Nolen and first wife, Catherine Nohel.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at the St. Helen Community Baptist Church with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Barry Brown will officiate.
