Larry Kay Matthews Jr.

Larry Kay Matthews Jr., age 29, passed away suddenly on November 17, 2016 from an automobile accident in West Branch, MI. He had lived in Lupton, MI since the summer of 2016, formerly of Ridgeway, SC. Larry was born on March 7, 1987 to Larry K. Matthews and June (DeRoso) Nace in West Branch, MI. He worked doing auto repair. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, cars, the outdoors, gathering with his family and traveling with his son.

Larry is survived by his son, Haze A. Matthews of Ridgeway, SC; father, Larry Matthews of Lupton, MI; mother, June (Scott) Nace of Ridgeway, SC; sister, Rhea Gibson; brother, Eric Matthews; sister, Katie (Matt) Quigley of West Branch, MI; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Doris DeRoso and Lawrence and Kathlene Matthews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Rose Township Hall in Lupton, MI.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family to help Haze.
