Larry Eugene Koehler, age 54, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at his home in West Branch, MI. He lived in West Branch for the past 10 years formerly of Berkley, MI.
Larry was born on March 25, 1967 in Waukegan, IL to David Tollers and Susan Koehler. He was a member of the Bigfoot Club of West Branch and worked at Habitat for Humanity. He enjoyed trail riding, camping, kayaking, ice fishing, snowmobiling and just being outdoors. Larry loved spending time with his family, friends, and especially his grandchildren. He loved being around people and listening to music.
Larry is survived by his children, Larry (Carol Jewell) Koehler Jr., Patrick (Tia) Boyce, Alex Boyce, Justin (Jordan Schneider) Koehler, and Hannah (Cole VanCura) Koehler; grandchildren, Aiden, Alianna, Alex, Hunter, Emmah, and Paisley; brother, Steven Wolfe; sisters, Jennifer Stice, Dawn (Shawn) Leppert, Christina Denton; stepmother, Valerie Tollers; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Tim & Chris Cromwell, Bob Matthews, Diane Rickord, Larry & Terry Boyce, and many other good friends, including his beloved companions, Baby and Charlie.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the Horton Township Hall in West Branch from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
