Kirk James Anderson

Kirk James Anderson age 64 passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his cabin in St. Helen, MI on Friday, January 1, 2016. He was born on October 26, 1951 to Albert and Goldie (Trimm) Anderson in Pontiac, MI. “Pa” as he was known by those who knew him, lived in Rochester Hills, Michigan his whole life. On April 12, 1969 he married Edrie Whittaker and spent 46 years together. Some of his favorite past time hobbies include racing, hunting, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and working on cars. He loved to watch NASCAR, and spent many years racing the local tracks in the area. Pa had a friend on every corner and could always be found talking, visiting or just helping them out.

Surviving family members include his wife Edrie Anderson of Rochester Hills, daughter Andrea Hirchberger of Armada, son Kirk John Anderson of St. Helen, 5 grandchildren Nicholas Brennan, Matthew Brennan, Kirk Jared Anderson, Kali Anderson, and Michael Hirchberger. Also his father Albert Anderson, sister Sallie Franks of White Lake, brother “Red” Anderson of Oxford, and sister Jean Cantu of Pontiac. He is preceded in death by his mother Goldie (Whittaker) Anderson.

A memorial wake is scheduled for Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 409, 3967 S. Livernois Rd., Rochester Hills, MI 48307.
