Ketha J. Beckstrom

Ketha J. Beckstrom, age 92, passed away on May 3, 2018 at her home in West Branch surrounded by her family. Ketha has been a resident of West Branch since 2016 previously of Manistee. She was born on October 16, 1925 in Rockford, MI to Hanford and Myrtle (Foote) Lovelace. She graduated from Rockford High school and Butterworth school of Nursing, she also attended Central Michigan University. Ketha had a deep love for her family, nursing, the woods of Northern Michigan, golfing, and the numerous lakes and bridges of the area.

Ketha is survived by her children Marsha (Steve Laymen) Gilbert of Fairview, Alan (Ray Wcisel) Beckstrom of Clearwater, FL; grandchildren Dino (Jamie) Ciardelli, Shanda (Mark) Burdan, Kari Stoklosa, Angela (Jamie) Decker, Krista (Ben) Sanders, and Jessica DeSio. She is also survived by 11 precious great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard Beckstrom, beloved daughters Barbara Beckstrom, Loraine Wetherspoon, grandson Shane Stoklosa, and dear friend Jack Franke.

Ketha’s wishes were to be cremated and have her ashes buried next to her husband at the Cherry Grove Cemetery in Cadillac, MI.
