Kenneth Harold Trembath

Kenneth Harold Trembath, age 85, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Medilodge in Sterling, MI. He was born to Harold and Violet (Johnson) Trembath on February 11, 1929 in Saginaw, MI. Ken graduated from Negaunee High School, then moved to Clinton Twp to continue his work with the Michigan Inspection Bureau. After retiring from Marsh & McLennan, he and his wife Virginia moved to Forest Lake, MI where he has lived for over 20 years. Kenneth served on the Forest Lake Association Board, was a long time member of the Negaunee Elks Club, Fraser Lions Club, and active in Forest Lake affairs. He also enjoyed researching Genealogy. Kenneth is survived by his children: Dawn (Peter Principe) Trembath of Durham, NC, Thomas (Kathy) Trembath of Atlanta, GA, Paula Trembath of Forest Lake, MI, Christine Trembath of Forest Lake, MI; and grandchildren: Elizabeth, Stephen, Timothy and Nicholas. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Virginia Trembath and son, Michael Trembath. Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch, MI will be on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Father David Parsch will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to the Friends of Fayette Historic Townsite.
