Kathryn Duffey

Kathryn Duffey, age 87 of Rose City, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch. She had been a resident of Rose City since 1981, formerly of St. Clair Shores. Kathryn’s family was her whole life and she enjoyed people watching. Survivors include her children, Jerilynn Smith, Vivian Radford, Edward Duffey III and Lawrence Duffey all of Rose City, grandchildren, Jamie, Wendi, Frances and Gregory and great-grandchildren, Kyle, Amber, Brandyn, Tawnee, Aden, Quinn, Cortney, Jon, her half sister, Patricia and half brother, Michael. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Duffey Jr. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2008 until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands or to Bortz Health Care, both of West Branch.
