Kathryn Anne Wangler, 59, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 8th, in her home. She grew up in West Bloomfield, MI and resided in West Branch for the past 22 years.
Kathryn was born to Jack and Beverly Duval on October 3, 1957 in Detroit, MI. She married Edward Wangler on September 6, 1995 and they enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards, and traveling to California to spend time with their daughter and son-in-law. Kathryn absolutely loved cooking, and any moment she had to make a meal for someone was thoroughly enjoyed. She was an avid reader, was handy with a needle and thread, and enjoyed listening to music.
Kathryn is survived by her two children, Joe (Katie) Weber of West Branch and Katy (Corey) DiGiacomo of Los Angeles, CA; grandson, Conrad; fur-children, Baxter, Sully, and Socks; grand-dogs, Jake, Huxley, and Orwell; siblings, Janet (Mike) Hack, John (Robin) Duval, Michael (Lisa) Duval, Patrick (Sara) Duval; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial luncheon will be held October 22, 2016 at their home.
