Kathleen Shayna Rachow

Kathleen Shayna Rachow, age 38, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020 at her home in West Branch surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 30, 1981 in Saginaw to Joseph and Kathleen (Frazier) Lademan. Kathy lived in West Branch her entire life. She married Nathan Rachow in West Branch on July 26, 2008. Kathy graduated from Ogemaw Heights High School in 2000 and was employed at Northland Area Federal Credit Union and Ferrellgas, both in West Branch for many years. She volunteered and helped at school events and was always involved with every aspect of her children’s schooling and sports. Kathy was an avid shopping saver, “Girls want to help me cut coupons?” She enjoyed Outlaws Softball, Ogemaw Bulldogs Wrestling, camping, spending time with her friends and family, but most of all, loving and raising her children.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Nathan Rachow of West Branch; children, Morgan Marie Rachow, Maleah Joanne Rachow and Chance Maurice Rachow all of West Branch; mother, Kathleen Lademan of West Branch; siblings, Paul (Elaine) Lademan of West Branch, Karen (Al) Killinger of West Branch, Joe (Jenny) Lademan of West Branch, Denise (Lance) Erickson of Grand Rapids and Joyce (Tim) Romancky of Rockford; brother-in-law, Danmartin Charles of Phoenix, AZ; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph in 2007 and sister, Donna Charles in 2015.

Visitation at the Ogemaw County Fairgrounds will begin on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The memorial service will be held at the fairgrounds on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Pastor David Kurtz will officiate.

Visitation for Kathy will be held with precautions due to the current pandemic, limiting the number of attendees at a given time.
