Kathleen H. Pedroza

Kathleen H. Pedroza, age 101 of West Branch, passed away Monday, March 28, 2011 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch. Kathleen was born June 30, 1909, and was looking forward to turning 102. She lived most of her life in California, returning to Michigan about 35 years ago and to West Branch about 30 years ago. Kathleen was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She always had a smile on her face and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Kathleen is survived by niece, Jacquoline Weiler of West Branch, niece, Beverly Bosley of Taylor, MI, and step granddaughter, Roberta (Ken) Lang of Reno, NV. Also surviving are step granddaughter, several step grandchildren, and numerous great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and 2 great-great-great niece and nephew. She is preceded in death by husband, Ralph, parents, 8 brothers and sisters. A Memorial Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11:00 am with family receiving friends from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Father Patrick will officiate. Memorial contributions may be to St. Joseph School or Hospice of Helping Hands
