Kathleen A. "Kay" Bragg

Kathleen A. “Kay” Bragg, age 77 of West Branch, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. Kay was born on October 16, 1934 to Clare and Sophia Frank in National City, MI. Kay married Raymond Bragg on February 7, 1953 in West Branch. She had lived in West Branch since 1984, formerly of Flint. Kay was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the C.C.W. She also enjoyed crocheting. Kay is survived by husband, Raymond Bragg of West Branch, son, Joseph Bragg of West Branch, daughter, Catherine (Steve) Hutchins of Flint, daughter, Carolyn (Rick) Maynard of Fort Collins, CO, son, Michael (Sherry) Bragg of Clio, daughter, Valerie (Anthony) Talhelm of Flushing, brother, Edward Lorenz of Arabi, GA, brother, Larry (Connie) Lorenz of Tawas, sister, Pat (Stu) Smith of Gaylord, sister, Susan (Troy) Ritchie of Biloxi, MS and sister, Carol Frank of Lansing. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, Clare and Sophia Frank, step-father, Edward Lorenz, brother, John Lorenz, and sister, Lois Schmidt. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 2-9 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 3:00 p.m. and scripture service at 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation prior from 10:00 a.m. until time of mass. Father Patrick Maher will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Advantage or wishes of the family.
