Junior "Curly" Powers

Mr. Powers passed away at his home. He was born in Lexington, MI. to Frank and Minnie Powers. He graduated from Saginaw High School in 1946. He was employed by Morley Bros. for 25 years, then was the Assistant Chief of Buena Vista Fire Dept. for 15 years, retiring in 1985 and moving to Alger. Mr. Powers is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marian, sons--Richard (Valorie) Powers and Frank (Kathy) Powers, daughter Mary Anne (Russell) Odette, granddaughters, Amanda and Erin Powers, Trisha (Josh) Dickinson, Lisa (Shevi) Sloane and grandson Adam Odette. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Joseph Church in Alger at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday February 25, 2003. The family will greet family and friends at 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
