June E. Chalifour

June E. Chalifour, age 80 of Rose City, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2006 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. She had lived in Rose City since 1985, formerly of Belleville. Mrs. Chalifour is survived by her husband, George Chalifour of Rose City, her children, Jerrie (Neil) Allen of Lupton, Jeffrey Greenwood of Mayfield, Jamie Greenwood of Traverse City, David (Carolyn) Chalifour of Dearborn Heights, Linda (James) Frazer and Mark Chalifour both of Westland and Michael (Kimberly) Chalifour of Inkster, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and her brother, Albert Layton of Port Clinton, OH. She was preceded in death by her son, John Greenwood and her brother, L. Kenneth Layton. The family will receive friends at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 from 12-9 P.M.
