June Ann Wood

June Ann Wood, age 77, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, MI after extended heart problems. She had lived in Rose City, MI since 1997, formerly of Saginaw, MI. June was born on June 21, 1939 to John and Jeanne LeMaire in Saginaw. She married Lawrence Wood on December 10, 1982 in Saginaw. June ran the Rose City Senior Center for five years. She enjoyed crafts, bingo, and going to the casino.

June is survived by her children; Daniel Nowak of Rose City, MI, Michael Nowak of Albuquerque, NM, Marie Stroebel of Saginaw, MI, John Nowak Jr. of Kinross, MI and Catherine Nowak of Rose City, MI, grandchildren; Justin, Kyle, Jeanna, Stephanie, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wood; parents, John and Jeanne LeMaire; brothers, John LeMaire, Merle LeMaire, and Emil LeMaire; sister, Louise Dietrich; and ex-husband, John T. Novak.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.
