Julie Ann Ashmore

Julie Ann Ashmore, age 55 of St. Helen, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. Julie was born to Tonnie & Janet (Houseman) Archer in Lansing, on August 1, 1956. She moved to St. Helen in 2002. Julie was the President of the St. Helen Civic Association and Secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW #5680. She loved playing Bingo, trips to the casino and enjoyed entertaining friends. Julie is survived by her husband, Larry Ashmore of St. Helen, children, Darcy Ayres (Aaron Preston) of Auburn Hills and Larry Ashmore II of Pontiac, her sister Jacinda Alden and niece Sarah Jade Alden both of Lansing. She was preceded in death by her mother Janet Alden, her brother Tonnie J. Archer and her stepfather John M. Alden. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin at on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 1-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. Dan Stoneback will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch.
