Judith "Judy" A. Berry

Judith A. “Judy” Berry, age 67 of West Branch, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. Judy had lived in Ogemaw County since 1975 and was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed shopping, traveling and talking on the phone. Her favorite holidays were Christmas and Halloween and her close friends called her “Judy Doo.” Judy is survived by her children, Sherry (Steve) Swinehart of Whittemore, Robin (Joe) Lease of Royal Oak and Paula (Craig) Chissus of Kalkaska, her grandchildren, Alishia (Jeremy) and Jack and her great-grandchildren Brieana and Katrina. Also surviving are several cousins in the Detroit area, many many friends and her favorite companion poodle, Casey. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 2-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Pastor Dan Stoneback will officiate. Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Saints Cemetery, Whittemore, MI.
