Judith Dianne Swanson

Judith Dianne Swanson, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in Macomb, MI with her family by her side. She was born on October 31, 1944 in Warren, MI to Jason and Cathlee (Moore) Sprague. She lived in St. Helen since 1988, formerly of Center Line. Judie had been a member of the St. Helen Snow Packers, secretary for the St. Helen Fireworks Committee, and attended Hope Lutheran Church. She also worked at the Hen House in St. Helen for several years. She was best known for her baking skill and could always be counted on to donate a cake or two to local fundraisers. She enjoyed watching the wildlife around her property and spending time with her family.

Judie is survived by her children, Lori (Ken) Tomasko of Macomb and David (Donna Scharff) Rozenboom of Warren; step children, Florence Bass, Kemmy (Dennis) Sheehan, and Grant (Kathy) Swanson; and step son-in-law, Jeff Vinette. She is preceded in death by her husband, Guy Swanson; stepsons, Guy Swanson and Gary Swanson; and stepdaughter, Lori Vinette. She was loved by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St Helen will begin on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery. Rev. Rodney Morrison, Pastor, will officiate.
