Judith Ann Martin

Judith Ann Martin, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland, MI. She was born on February 13, 1944, in Detroit, MI to John and Betty (Brennan) Luelleman.

She lived in the West Branch/Clear Lake area for the past 21 years, formerly of West Bloomfield Twp., MI. On November 19, 1983, she married Lyndle “Bud” Martin in Pontiac, MI.

Judith worked for General Motors for over 30 years. She helped on the election committee in Ogemaw County. She was a member of the Ogemaw Hills Snowmobile Club and enjoyed snowmobiling. She also traveled to 49 states in her RV and belonged to the Blue Water RV Club. She was also a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. Judith enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Rifle River Quilt Guild.

Judith is survived by her brother Tom (Carol) Luelleman of Fort Myers, FL; sisters Kathleen Wilson of Millington, MI and Cynthia (Ed) Scherer of Greer, SC; 8 nieces and nephews; and 1 great nephew. She is also survived by Bud’s daughters Patricia (Mark) Orler of West Bloomfield Twp., MI and Barbara (David) Arbaugh of Charlotte, NC; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Bud in 2021.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Father Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate. Burial will follow at Damon Cemetery in West Branch.
