Joyce A. Rabb

Joyce A. Rabb age 70 of St. Helen, passed away Wednesday June 15, 2011 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Joyce had lived in St. Helen since 1974, formerly of Flint. She was a past president and treasurer of the VFW Auxiliary. Joyce enjoyed politics, bingo, fishing and family gatherings. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren—they were the most important thing to her. Joyce is survived by her children, Tamera Weatherford of Flint, Vicki (Gary) Fyock, John Rabb and Randy (Kathy) Rabb all of St. Helen and Candance (Mickey) Rabb-McGinnis of Flint, grandchildren, Wyndy, Heather and Nathan Weatherford, Tara (Chris) Slaten, Chase (Rachel) Fyock, Mariah Fyock, Jessica Wiltfong, Rebecca (Ryan) Craig, Randy II, Savannah, Nicole, John Robert and Justin (Christina) Rabb, Allen and Andrea McGinnis, Lindsay McGinnis, Mackenzie, Mickey II, Thomas, Matthew McGinnis, 20 great-grandchildren with one on the way, and fiancé, David “Eli” Gualtney. Also surviving are her sisters, Barbara Garchow, Donna Hills, Sandra Peterson and Vickie Haney, her brother, Eugene Abraham, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Grace DeLaurier and her brother Robert Canfield. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Sunday, June 19, 2011 from 1-9 p.m. On Monday, visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Ken Peterson will officiate with burial following at Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen.
