Joseph Daniel Perrotta

Joseph “JD” Daniel Perrotta, age 59, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at MyMichigan Medical Center in West Branch, MI. He was born on April 12, 1963 in Richmond, NY to Frank Perrotta and Beatrice McGrath.

JD lived in St. Helen for the past 33 years formerly of Jacksonville, FL. He enjoyed fishing, boat rides, building, and was the ultimate jokester. He was a wonderful father and grandfather, and his grandchildren were the lights of his life. He was a friend and mentor to so many. The absolute baby whisperer. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

JD is survived by his loving wife, Marlene Larson of St. Helen; children, Michael (Jamie) Paille of Higgins Lake, MI, Megan (Cameron) Hizey of Madison, IN, Amber (Randy) Perry of St. Helen, and Abbey (Jessie) Gransden of Midland, MI; 19 grandchildren; siblings, Laura (Fredrick) Hardee, Frank (Rene) Perrotta, Brian (Belinda) Perrotta, Dawn Mosley, Rose Demitroulas, Alvie Mosley, and Coshise Bloodworth; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Russell Perrotta, Shirley Perrotta, James Danaher, Jay Mosley, and Shannon Bloodworth.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial will be held on August 20th, location TBD. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to cover the costs of his Celebration of Life, through
