Joseph Augustine Allard

Joseph Augustine Allard, age 66, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at his home in Lupton surrounded by his loving family. He lived in Ogemaw County most of his life. He was born on September 20, 1953 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI to Cyril and Isabelle (Mastaw) Allard. Joe served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He married Vickie Foust in West Branch on November 7, 1981. He has a degree in applied sciences and worked as an auto mechanic. Joe was a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indian and enjoyed hunting, fishing, loved watching sports and spending time with his grandkids.

Joe is survived by his wife, Vickie Allard of Lupton; children, Brentt Foust of Beaverton, Nikki (Ben) Caudill of South Lyon, Matthew (Katie) Allard of Sault Ste. Marie, Shane (Ashley) Allard of Sault Ste. Marie, and Seth (Victoria) Allard of Southfield; grandchildren, Shayna, Melany, Brie, Bailey, Paul, Preston, Lexie, Kailyn, Nevaeh, Rhyan, Liam, Gideon and Aizlyn; siblings, Michael, Joy, Mary, Rose, Gregory, Jackie, Kateri, Cyril John; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Sister and Thomas.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Father Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate. Burial will be at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.
