Joseph A. Gauche

Joseph A. Gauche age 82 passed away Friday, January 16, 2009 at Bortz Health Care in Rose City. Joseph resided in Lupton and was formerly of Roseville, MI. He was born October 27, 1926 in Detroit to George and Mary (Pokrefky) Gauche. He married Gertrude Wingerson August 21, 1948. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last August. Joseph is survived by his wife Gertrude, children Annette Adams, Paul (Barbara) Gauche, Gloria (Nick) Karras, Ronald (Laurie) Gauche, and Alan (JoEllen) Gauche. Nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren, and his sister Ann Havern. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two sisters. According to Joseph’s wishes he is being cremated and no visitation will take place. Friends wishing to make remembrances on his behalf may make contributions to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at their local Catholic church. A Mass of the Resurrection will take place at a later date.
