John W. Hurley Jr.

John W. Hurley Jr., age 87 of West Branch passed away at his home on Sunday, October 4, 2009. John had lived in West Branch since June of 2008, formerly of Farmington Hills. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #3 of Detroit and the First Presbyterian Church in Farmington Hills. John is survived by his wife Betty of West Branch, children, Patricia (Jon) VanOosten of West Branch and John Hurley III of Chesterfield Township and his grandchildren, Trisha (Ben) Rizzo and Peter and Erik VanOosten. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2009 at the First Presbyterian Church of Farmington, 26165 Farmington Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48334. Rev. Don Wright will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, 337 E. Houghton Ave., West Branch, MI 48661.
