John R. Retelle

John R. Retelle, age 69, of Alger, passed away at his home Monday, July 6, 2009. John lived in Alger since 1975, formerly of West Branch. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and being with his friends, family, and grandkids. John is survived by wife, Kolleen of Alger, son, John Retelle, son, Tony Retelle of AZ, daughter, Cindy Retelle, son, Ricky Retelle of IN, daughter Terry Retelle, daughter, Pam (Ron) Carlson of Blissfield, MI, daughter, Heather (Jim) Tolfree of West Branch, sister, Mary Miller of Caro, and sister, Terry Kairvnas of Mio. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Brandon, Breanna, Courtney, Joshua, and 1 great grandchild. John is preceded in death by, father, Frank Retelle, mother, Bernice Williams, stepmom, Gwenna Retelle, Brother, Frank Retelle, and sister, Audrey Wisen. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Thursday, July 9, 2009 from 10:00 am until time of service at 3:00 pm. Pastor Sean Rodgers will officiate.
