John F. Depetro

John F. DePetro, age 63 of Rose City, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Bay Regional Medical Center in Bay City. John had lived in Rose City for the past 4 years, formerly of Mesa, Arizona. He retired from the Phoenix Civic Plaza after 20 years of service. He loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed fishing and traveling. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather. He also loved spending time with his family and two dogs. John is survived by his wife Patricia of Rose City, children, Jessica DePetro of Portland, Oregon, and James (Kathy) DePetro of Algonac and his grandsons, Scott and Ty DePetro of Algonac. Also surviving is his mother, Katherine DePetro of Roseville, his sister, Annette DePetro of Roseville and his best friend, Brian Engel of Phoenix, Arizona. A celebration of John’s life will be held at noon on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at the Perch Point Conservation Club, 7930 Meisner Rd., Casco, MI 48064. Please call (810)794-5985 for information.
