Jodi Marie Davison

When you see a tie-dyed piece of fabric or a peace sign, maybe you will think of me. I, Jodi Marie (Harris) Davison passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017 in my home with my loving family by my side. I have made the transition from this beautiful world to my final home with God and all of the ones who have gone before me. I didn’t want to go but I couldn’t stay, my body could not sustain my life.

I was born on September 26, 1966 to Judy (Francisco) and Edgar Harris in Cadillac, MI. Leon Sentell, my step-father was the best “dad” I have ever known.

As you read of my death, please know that I have had a life of some disappointments yet I have also been blessed with so many gifts: Brian, my husband for 10/20 years is a handsome, kind, hard-working husband the most loving man I have ever known; two dear children, Joshua Cook of Oregon and Angelique Fife of Arizona; three grandchildren, Gaia Fay Cook, Ezrah Hepburn and Jax; 3 brothers, Dan Sentell, Doug Kregear, and Russ Harris; and sister, Cindy Fowler; a wonderful home in St. Helen, MI and a great family and many wonderful friends.

Life has been so precious to me and I want everyone to know that I am fine. I have been blessed to have had this life. I am now free of pain and know where I am going. I’d like all of you to know that I believe that one needs to live life like there’s no tomorrow, don’t waste time on silly things, make good decisions about how you want to live, don’t’ sweat the small stuff and remember that your life is what you make it.

A memorial service for Jodi will be held at her home at a later time and will be officiated by Heartland Hospice’s Chaplin, Craig Hexham.
