Jodi Lynn Fabera

Jodi L. Fabera, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center in West Branch, Michigan. She was born on Sunday, April 13, 1975, in Bay City, Michigan, and was a proud graduate of the John Glen High School Class of 1994. 

Jodi devoted her life to raising her family, taking great joy in caring for her children and grandchild. Her warm and caring personality made her a cherished presence in the lives of those who knew her. She found happiness in her hobbies, which included bowling and gardening, and she always made time to take care of her beloved grandchild. 

She is survived by her husband, Greg Fabera of West Branch; her daughters, Katlyn (Greg Mier) Fabera and Kendra Fabera, both of West Branch; her son, Mathew Fabera of West Branch; her grandson, Owen Mier of West Branch; her sister, Kelly (Ben) Felker of Saginaw; and her nephew, Tyler Felker of Saginaw. 

Jodi was preceded in death by her parents, Chris and Nancy (DeRosier) McCarty. 

Visitation will take place on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Homes in West Branch. A Celebration of Life will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. 

The family is having a lunch after Friday’s service at the Zion Brothern Church in Prescott, MI. 

She will be buried at the Logan Township Cemetery, Bill Sparow will officiate.
