Joanne Mae Trombley, age 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at The Villa in West Branch, MI. She was born on March 24, 1943, in Warren, MI to Emil and Dorothy (Russell) Busch. Joanne lived in Prescott, MI for the past 23 years, formerly Warren.
On February 14, 1984, she married Ronald Trombley in Warren.
Joanne, a woman of remarkable warmth and kindness, often took joy in the simpler things in life. Her passions were evident in her love for gardening, where she found peace among the flowers, nurturing them just as she nurtured her family. Cooking brought her immense joy, and her kitchen served as a gathering place for loved ones, especially during the holiday season. Christmas was particularly special to her; she delighted in collecting ornaments that told a story of traditions and memories shared throughout the years. Board games were another source of fun for Joanne, where laughter and playful competition became the foundation of joyous family gatherings.
Joanne is survived by her daughters, Diana (Danny) Mee and Sheryl Reiterman, along with her daughter-in-law, Ann Reiterman and the late, Michael Reiterman Jr. Her grandchildren, Kristine (Matthew) Endler, Shaun Mee, and Emily (Dominick) Riley, were a source of immense pride and joy for her, as well as her great-grandchildren Lilliana, Leila, Whitney, Meredith, and Theodore. In their laughter and smiles, Joanne found her proudest accomplishments — the precious moments spent with her family.
Joanne also held a special place in her heart for her stepsons, Allen (Lisa) Trombley, Brian (Sherry) Trombley, and Joel (Joelle) Trombley, along with many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren, adding to the love that surrounded her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son.
