Joanne Laura Carr

Joanne Laura Carr, age 77, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, MI. She had lived in the Lupton and St. Helen areas for the past 14 years, formerly of Redford, MI. Joanne was born to John and Mary Marshal on September 14, 1937 in Detroit, MI. On October 23, 1959 Joanne married Billy Carr in Detroit, MI and recently celebrated 55 years of marriage. She enjoyed crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.

Joanne is survived by her loving husband, Billy Carr of Lupton, MI; children: Ed Carr of Harbor Beach, MI, Ron Carr of Spartanburg, SC, Keith Carr of Belleville, MI, Bill Jr. Carr of Ann Arbor, MI, Mary Carr of Kawkawlin, MI and Kim (Terry) Lequia of Palmer, MI; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City, MI will begin on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Lane Heights Cemetery. Pastor Dan Stoneback will officiate.
