Joan E. Allen

Joan E. Allen, age 73 of St. Helen, passed away at her home Sunday, July 5, 2009. Joan had lived in St. Helen since 1985 previously of Clio, MI. She loved spending time with her family. Joan is survived by her husband of 55 years Darrell Allen of St. Helen, daughter Valerie (David) Jones and son Bret Allen both of Clio. 5 grandchildren Tommy, Stephanie, Stacy, Steven, and Sabrina. 5 great grandchildren and 4 brothers and sisters. She is preceded in death by a son Robin Allen and a sister Mary. Visitation for Joan will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2009 from 12:30 -2:00PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen. The funeral will also be held Wednesday at 2:00PM at the funeral Home. Rev. Lonnie Severance will officiate. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Muscular Sclerosis Foundation.
