Jerry Mynarcik, age 93, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2014 in St. Helen, MI. Jerry has lived in St. Helen since 1971, formerly of Chesaning, MI. He was born on April 7, 1921 to John and Frances (Hudec) Mynarcik in Holland, TX. Jerry married Betty Small in Grayling, MI on February 2, 1956. He served in the United States Army in WWII during 1942-1948 and participated in the Battle of the Bulge. Jerry also enjoyed woodworking. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Betty Mynarcik of St. Helen, MI; children: John (Cindy) Sutter of St. Helen, Kandy (Richard) Rider of Chesaning, Debra Sutter of Hale, Ricky (Joni) Mynarcik of Whitmore Lake, Penny Mynarcik of Stewart, FL, Jerry (Pam) Mynarcik of St. Helen, Joey (Char) Mynarcik of St. Helen, Patti (Mike) Winters of Kalamazoo; 26 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and sisters: Dolly of Soldonta, AK, and Elsie of Miami, FL. Visitation will be at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen on Monday, July 14, 2014 beginning at 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Barry Brown will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery with Military Honors.
