Jennie M. Powers

Mrs. Powers passed away at King Nursing Centre in Houghton Lake, Michigan. She had lived in St. Helen since 1947, formerly of Flint. She owned and operated the Powers Fruit Market in Flint and then the Powers Resort in St. Helen for 50 years. She attended St. Helen Community Baptist Church. Mrs. Powers is survived by several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service was held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday January 30, 2003 at Flint Memorial Park in Mt. Morris, Michigan.
