Jeffrey Allen Tackebury

Jeffrey Allen Tackebury “Big Daddy”, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor, MI. He had lived in West Branch, MI since 1996, formerly of Bridgeport, MI. Jeff was born to Fred and Gladys (Jones) Tackebury in Saginaw, MI on February 1, 1961. He married Diane Beahlen on December 10, 1983 in Clio, MI. He was a loving husband, father, and brother. He enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, 4 wheeling, NASCAR, and spending time with his family, and friends, especially his grandson.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Diane Tackebury; daughters, Melissa (Brian) Murchie and Meaghan (Rob DeMatio) Tackebury all of West Branch, MI; grandson, Brayden Murchie; mother, Gladys Tackebury of Bridgeport, MI; sister, Lori (Don) Griffus of Bridgeport, MI; brothers, Fred (Laura) Tackebury of Prescott, MI and Greg (Lisa) Tackebury of Houghton Lake, MI; brother in law, Ken Beahlen of Warren, MI; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Fred Tackebury and grandmother, Pearl Jones.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch, MI will begin on Monday, April 4, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.
