Jeanine Ann Clemens, age 88, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022 at The Villa at Rose City. She was born on July 18, 1934 in West Branch, MI to Donald and Grace (Struble) Winslow. She lived in West Branch her whole life.
On April 24, 1954, she married Vern Clemens.
Jeanine was a nurse and did her training at Hurley Hospital in Flint, MI. She was a member of the Churchill United Methodist Church and Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening, camping, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Jeanine is survived by her children, Lisa (Dean) Bennett of Eureka Spring, AR, Mark Clemens of West Branch, Wayne Clemens of West Branch, and Suzanne (Todd) Kohs of Cheboygan, MI; grandchildren, Noelle, Sam, Brandyn, and Alexandra; great grandchildren, Weston, Maelyn, and Fischer; sister-in-law, Darlene Winslow of West Branch; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Vern in 2010, and brother William Winslow.
The family would like to thank all the staff at The Villa in Rose City and Heartland Hospice.
Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery. Pastor Brenda Klacking will officiate.
Memorial contributions can be made to Churchill United Methodist Church or Ogemaw County Fair.
