Jean Marie Hein

Jean Marie Hein, age 89, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020 at MidMichigan Medical Center in West Branch. She was born on March 19, 1931 in Detroit to Adolf and Helen (Johnson) Winters. Jean lived in Lupton since 2009, formerly of Detroit. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Detroit and starting working for the Detroit Medical Center in 1977 as an Ambulatory Care Support Specialist at Detroit Receiving Hospital. She was a hardworking person and retired in 2009, after 32 years of service. Jean enjoyed bowling, skating, softball, collecting cardinals and her family meant the world to her.

Jean is survived by her son, David (Sandra) Hein of Lupton; grandchildren, David B., Tyler (Tiffany), Seth, Dawn, Denise and Darlene; great grandson, Jordan; sister, Janet (Rich) Schultz of Dearborn; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, George in 1981, son, Jeffrey in February 2020, siblings, Gary Winters and Chuck Winters, and best friend, Virg Bak.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later time.
