Janet Kaye Swanson

Janet Kaye Swanson, age 75, of Chaska, MN passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, May 16, 2016. A celebration of her life is Saturday, June 18, 2016 11:00 a.m. at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home, 109 E. Houghton Ave., West Branch, MI, 48661. Janet was born on September 7, 1940, in Detroit Michigan to Carl E. and Lorraine (Esther) Wallgren. She was one of three children. She will be greatly missed by her loving children, Amy Sharkey & husband Dan of Jordan, MN, Eric Swanson & wife Drinda of Hampshire, IL, Kristen Swanson of Chaska, MN & longtime partner, Chris Dziewior, nine grandchildren, Alex Swanson, Leah McLean, Bella Montgomery, Brittne, Austin, Brandon & Jade Swanson, and Heather & William Sharkey. Also survived by her sisters, Carleen Schneider & husband Jim of Grand Rapids, MI and Nickie Short of West Branch, MI and many loving relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch, MI on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Lane Heights Cemetery. Rev. Tim Dibble will officiate.
