Janet Elaine Sapp

Janet Elaine Sapp, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 surrounded by her family in Rose City, MI. She was born on March 6, 1943 in Charlotte, MI to Amos and Flora (Elaton) Evans. Janet lived in West Branch for the past 50 years, formerly of Montrose, MI.

Janet was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church. She owned an 80-acre hobby farm on Morrison Road in West Branch and loved animals. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Janet is survived by her children, Melody (Bill) Hart of Prescott, Larry (Melissa Reasner) Sapp of Rose City, Brian (Sabrina) Sapp of Lupton, Michael Sapp of Lupton, and Angela (Kevin Hamden) Sapp of Rose City; very special daughters in law, Imelda Martin and Cheryl McMachon; 24 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and two brothers and two sisters.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lawrence; son, Dale; daughter, Lora; grandson, Alex; and great grandchildren, Christine and Jessie.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
