James Troy Mckinney

James Troy McKinney, age 51, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022, at his home in Rose City, MI. He was born on February 2, 1971, in Warren, MI to James Elon and Ruby (Greer) McKinney. He lived in Rose City since 2015 formerly of Georgia.

James served in the United States Army for 12 years. After his service in the military, he was a registered nurse and worked for Homes of Light. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, sky diving, and scuba diving.

James Is survived by his mother, Ruby Nolan; sister Carol (Bob) Farley; brother Rob (Kristie) Beyerlein; and children, James McKinney, Eleasa McKinney, Sara McKinney, Makayla McKinney, and Jacob McKinney.

Burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 1:30 p.m.
