James Ronald Haines

James Ronald Haines, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at The Villa at Rose City. He had lived in Rose City, MI since 1995, formerly of Waterford, MI. James was born to Douglas and Elta (Saville) Haines in Cumberland, MD on April 15, 1933. James enjoyed volunteering at West Branch Regional Medical Center, mechanic work, carpentry, and was a handyman.

James is survived by his children, Gail (Jim) Michelini of White Lake, MI, Randall (Vicki) Haines of Rose City, MI, Richard Haines of Lewiston, MI, Robert (Marcia) Haines of Waterford, MI, and Russell (Michelle) Haines of Davisburg, MI; grandchildren, Ryan, John, Nicole, Robert, Morgan, and Jayme; great grandchildren, Daniel, Tagel, Tavin, Seth, Calah, Yarie, Payton, and Mayli; and brother, Robert (Judy) Haines of Scottsdale, AZ. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Haines; sisters, Delores, Bessie, and Charlotte; and brother, Douglas Jr.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the funeral service held at 6:00 p.m. Mel Killinger will officiate. Interment will be at Meridian Line Cemetery in Johannesburg, MI.
