James Morgan

James Morgan, age 67 of Prescott, MI, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at his home. Jim was born on July 5, 1956, to James Sr. and Peggy Lou (Johnson) Morgan in Saginaw, MI. Jim has lived in Prescott for 20 years. 

Jim married Jeannine Catherine Huston on September 17, 2021, in West Branch, MI. He loved NASCAR, especially watching Dale Earnhardt Sr. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, and singing karaoke with his family.

Jim is survived by wife, Jeannine Morgan of Prescott; sons, James (Amanda) Morgan of West Branch, Donovan (Stephanie) Morgan of West Branch, Alex Morgan of Prescott; step-daughter, Catherine VanHuis of Prescott; grandchildren, Carleigh, Natalie, Kalena, Ethan, Issac, Olivia, Holly, and Luke; mother, Peggy Morgan of MI; in-laws, Joanne and Jim Schram of Prescott. Also surviving are siblings, Nita (Timothy) Wise, Deborah (Timothy) Northrop, Diane Pline, Connie (Martin) Mora, Kelly Morgan, all of Michigan, and Rita (Scott) Masker of Ohio.

He is preceded in death by father, James Morgan Sr. and daughter, Joni Thompson.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
