James Michael Watt

James Michael Watt, age 67, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at The Villa at West Branch. He was born on June 28, 1951 in Windsor, Ontario to John and Doris (Ainslie) Watt. He had lived in Prescott since 2008, formerly of Eastpointe, MI. Mike married Jil Ann Kulick in Roseville, MI on February 6, 1976. He graduated from Roseville High School in 1969 in Macomb County. Mike coached little league in Eastpointe for many years. He enjoyed golfing and loved sports, especially hockey. Mike enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Jil Watt of Prescott, MI; son, Jason Watt of Shelby Twp, MI; daughter, Jamie (Daniel) Spaulding of Vail, AZ; grandchildren, Kaci, Tyler, Ainslie; sisters, Janet (Richard Wakefield) Watt of Maplewood, MN and Patricia Muth of Port Huron; brother, John (Karen) Watt of Harrison Twp, MI and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. He is preceded in death by his parents, John “Jack” and Doris Watt.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later time this summer.
