James Lee

James Lee, age 84, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014 in West Branch, MI. James was born to King and Lillie Lee in Windsor, Ontario Canada on July 15, 1929. He lived in West Branch since 1967, formerly of Clawson, MI and Windsor, Ontario. James married Francis Godwin in Detroit, MI on December 9, 1967. He was a very active member at St. Joseph Catholic Church and a 3rd Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus #2022. James enjoyed gardening, loved to help his wife out around the house, and loved to travel. He owned and operated a family business, Lees Imperial House, in Windsor, Ontario for many years.
James is survived by his loving wife, Francis Lee of West Branch, MI; step children: Ray (Marie) Girard of Tawas, MI and Rick Girard; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, and 1 sister.
A Memorial Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch, MI will be on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
