James H. Rahn

James H. Rahn, age 61 of Alger, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He had lived in Arenac County since 1969 and retired from General Motors after 37 years. He served in the U.S. Navy and he enjoyed antique vehicles, fishing and hunting. James is survived by his wife Loryetta Rahn of Alger, son, Chadd Rahn of Twining, his twin sister, Jeanne (Ken) Rayl of the Upper Peninsula, his sisters, Donna (Robert) Struble and Wendy (Jim) Gielda both of Bay City, his sisters in law, Julia (Harold) Pheiffer of Linwood and Janet (Keith) Benjamin of Bentley and his brother in law, Richard (Betty) Marchinski of Alpena. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Ethel (Bourcier) Rahn and his brother, Donald. A Memorial Service is pending. Jim’s Prayer---“I said a prayer for you today, I know God must have heard.
