James Francis Haag

James Francis Haag, age 70, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in Lupton, MI. He was born on April 16, 1951 in Mt. Pleasant, MI to Charles and Merceil (Blevens) Haag. Jim lived in Cape Coral, FL, formerly living in Farwell, MI for most of his young and early adult life.

Jim graduated from Farwell High School and served in the United States Army. He worked as a truck driver for the Great Lake Gas Pipeline Company for over 25 years. Jim was an avid motorcycle rider. He loved riding motorcycles and attended several HOG rallies.

Jim is survived by his wife, Dona Kocher; children, Steven (Jayda) Haag and Amie Haag; step daughter, Sarah (Caleb) Allen; grandchildren, Griffin, Ruby and Milo; step grandchildren, Corbin and Kendra; siblings, Lynette (Joe) Lachut and David Haag (Sandy); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Merceil.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later time.
