James F. Sancrant

James F. Sancrant, age 89 of West Branch passed away Sunday July 19, 2009 at his home. He had lived in the West Branch area since 1976, formerly of Erie. James was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and the West Branch Senior Center, playing lead guitar in their band for 8 years. James is survived by his daughter, Carol (Ben) Riker of West Branch and Tim (Sue) Sancrant of Pahrump, NV, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred in 2001, his son Charles and grandson Scott. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 from 2-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Rev. Don Wojewski will officiate with burial following at Damon Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or the West Branch Senior Center.
