James Alan Egan

James Alan Egan, age 60, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at The Villa at West Branch after a battle with cancer. He had lived in South Branch, MI since 1985, formerly of Saginaw, MI. Jim was born on May 11, 1956 to Frank and Betty (Schaffer) Egan in Saginaw, MI. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and sharing stories with his friends at the local watering hole. Jim was a great cook and loved to BBQ. He was a member of the West Branch Moose Lodge #2051.

Jim is survived by his mother, Betty Egan of South Branch, MI; brothers, Richard (Cheryl) Egan of Rose City, MI, Thomas (Cyndi) Egan of West Branch, MI, and Robert (Chris) Egan of Rose City, MI; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Egan.
Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in South Branch.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
